  • Body scale less and compressed posteriorly.
  • Head 9 to 11 times in total length; dorsal fin origin over or behind pectoral fin base.
  • Teeth small, sharp, uniserial in jaw, in a cluster on inter-maxillary and irregularly biserial on vomer.
  • Color of body pale brownish yellow L; lighter on fins.
  • Maximum size: reported 100 cm (Total length).


Caught in the Kooh Mobarak waters.
